The following changes will come into effect on July 1st, 2020:
- In-house equal pay analysis in companies with more than 100 employees
- Review of the equal pay analysis by an “independent body”
- Information to employees about the result of the equal pay analysis
After the change in law has come into effect, the companies concerned have one year to carry out their in-house equal pay analysis and to have the review carried out by an independent body. The first analysis must be carried out by the end of June 2021 at the latest.
During the period of validity, the equal pay analyzes must be repeated regularly every four years if there are inexplicable wage inequalities. If there is no inexplicable difference in wages between women and men, no further analysis needs to be carried out.
